ABOUT

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist based in Edinburgh. I trained at The University of Edinburgh in the person centred and psychodynamic traditions. I take a client-centred approach so will work with whatever you are going through to suit your needs. I work psychodynamically to help clients unpack childhood attachment trauma. I provide a safe space by which to explore how attachment trauma may impact adult relationships. I love cats and paddleboarding and am open to working creatively with clients too.

EDUCATION
  • University of Edinburgh, 2019, Pg Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy - COSCA accredited.

  • University of Keele, 2013, PhD Primary Care Sciences (Epidemiology and Psychology)

  • The University of Northampton, 2006, Bsc Psychology and Sociology

EXPERIENCE

I have worked for two counselling charities in Scotland with a range of clients with relationship issues, trauma, childhood (sexual abuse) and suicidal ideation. I have worked with males and females of varying ages.
